BUILT IN LISBON IN 24 HOURS BY STRANGERS WHO NEVER MET BEFORE

TheSumMeet began as a bold social experiment: Could a group of strangers build a startup from scratch in just 24 hours?

On day one, we saw a common challenge for conference attendees: finding specific answers from experts in a sea of 70,000+ people. This inspired TheSumMeet—a Q&A platform where users could post questions and connect directly with those who have the knowledge to help.

Fueled by Lisbon’s energy and innovation, our team—who had only just met through WhatsApp groups and LinkedIn comment threads—dove in, bringing together our expertise and passions to bring this concept to life.

By dawn, TheSumMeet was live: a prototype designed to turn every question into a networking opportunity through an answer. By creating this space around shared challenges, TheSumMeet empowers attendees to find real-time solutions and makes networking effortless. We believe that, like our team, great ideas come together when people unite around a common purpose. TheSumMeet is here to transform how you connect, learn, and grow at conferences.

This is our 24-hour creation: born in Lisbon and built by strangers turned collaborators.

Thank You to TheSumMeet Pioneers

In the past 24 hours, over 100 of you stepped up—skipping parties, meetings, sleep, and even homework—to help bring TheSumMeet to life.

Your dedication, creativity, and hard work made this possible. This page is for all contributors. If we missed you, please reach out, and we’ll add your name. I'm probably the only one to have spoken to everyone who helped out and if we forget to mention you, it's on me. I'm tired, we're launching in a few minutes and I am sure I'll forget people who played a key role in this.

You all deserve credit for your help. perhaps ranked by time given, or a guesstimate of this. This list celebrates everyone who fueled TheSumMeet’s launch, and you all should be on here.

With Love, Stuart Cerne

A special thanks to our friends!

Some organisations helped us with their support and time, and we'd like to thank them!
